Works closely with engineering and maintenance to make sure all equipment is running efficiently and a quality product is produced.  Must have experience in machining, PLC  driven equipment, scheduling, and root cause analysis.  May work on some capital projects.  Could be on-call at times.  

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee and enforce safe work practices and policies among team members for maintenance and repairs
  • Coordinate with supervisors to discuss and understand issues from previous shifts
  • Promptly respond to real-time issues and repairs concerning all machines
  • Schedule and coordinate external machine service as required, pose as a point of contact for external servicemen
  • Compile and prioritize work schedules for employees, including emergencies, corrective action and off-shift teams
  • Maintain and verify employee timesheets for up to 25 employees on a weekly basis
  • Locate and retrieve stock and spare parts critical to machine function as necessary
  • Prioritize and complete technical repair assistance as needed
  • Schedule and maintain technical maintenance training for employees
  • Contribute machine and repair data for continuous improvement
  • Conduct annual employee reviews
  • Schedule and conduct a monthly maintenance meeting
EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance or Electrical Engineering plus 3-4 years of experience in industrial automation
  • 4-5 years of experience in an industrial supervisory role of 25+ employees
  • Well-versed with the fundamentals of mechanical and electrical engineering
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
  • Exceptional ability to multi-task under pressure
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and superb attention to detail
  • Ability to work within a team and individually when needed
MUST have CNC experience - robotics and PLC is a plus.
